We offer a long term sober living environment that has enjoyed tremendous success with people who have the disease of addiction maintain sobriety since 1989. The length of stay depends upon the needs of each individual. The key to our success is that we are supportive environment which assists alcoholics and addicts to learn to live a recovery life style. We do not have a 'black out' which allows the residents to become self supportive. Each resident is required to attend a weekly house meeting.
Phase I consists of six homes in a row, a recovery community. No deposit required and the first months rent is $695. Residents have a curfew and may take over night passes. The following is furnished for those in Phase I; food, toiletries, recreation room, weights, dinner is cooked for the residents, and wireless Internet. All homes are fully furnished; including utilities and cable TV. Every home has a house manager.
Our Phase II is for those who have completed Phase I, a minimum of 30 days, working a good 12-Step program and are being a part of the CSTL family. Residents have 9 other homes to choose from. A small deposit is required and the rents are lower. The Phase II homes are in Fair Oaks, Orangevale, Rancho Cordova and Sacramento. All are close to public transportation. |

Located in Whittier, H.O.W. House is licensed by the State Dept. of Alcohol and Drug Programs as a recovery home for men 18 and over. H.O.W. House is a working house. A resident is given one month to obtain a full time job or to start an educational or vocational program. If he is unable to work because of a doctor’s order, and does not choose to participate in an educational or vocational program, he will be expected to participate in twenty (20) hours per week of community service either for H.O.W. House or another charitable agency in the Whittier area. Each resident pays a fee for the service of $550 per month (If paid in advance. $150 if paid weekly. $285 if paid bi-weekly) |
